MAN!!! I was so worried they forgot my trophy! O.o But the the second agent must have taken it with him. *Phew!*

No but seriously GENIUS game concept I love it!

Wow... I think it's pretty much in the title...
Since you concentrate on the player so much, when you look anywhere else everything is still spinning...

The game is really basic tho... what about that remark to turn on one's playlist?
It didn't really seem to change anything...

I didn't get too far... not only because it was actually exhausing for my eyes to play :D
... is there moving blockades later on? would be a cool challenge I think...
Anyway a good concept basic graphics and an interesting render effect.

Thanks a lot!

Yeah, there are some different game mechanics later on. The game invites you to turn your own music playlist on just to make sure you will be tripping. ^^

Make sure to come back later to play the later levels and get a better time on the ones you already beat! It takes a while, but i already got used to the spinning (initially it was really hard to even test it!).

It gets pretty hardcore for the players mind later on tho. :b

... nice game... I hope you have the legal rights to use the ''cool guy'' theme ;)

...MS Paint - the game...

The controls are sloppy and the graphics are... sorry but they actually are poor...
So my advice would be to get your hands on Adobe Flash. It's way easier to create some decent graphics in Flash and the Language is easy to learn.

For matters of music: There is free music and license free music out there if you were to google about that I'm sure you can find your source... in case you really want to make your own music I can recommend Ableton Live or if it should be free Milkytracker (http://www.milkytracker.org/). Milkytracker will need some time for you to work out how things are done, while Live basically comes with everything set up just waiting for you to start making patterns or playing keyboard.
... So what I would try is to get one catchy melody ... just like a few tones, now try to alter that melody a little bit, it can already be enough to set the last note down or up... but it's something you can try and error... you will hear it... now the 'trick' can be to just use the same melody over and over again (but not too many times pls) but to use different instruments for it. you can also shift the melody one octave up or down... maybe more just hear what works for you.
Okay if you got your melody set up you also need a ground beat. you can start with the beat or the melody it really doesn't matter. By altering the ground beat when you change the melody instrument you can already set a new setting to the music... just try around with a second layer like a bass instrument ... something like that, if you got the basic melody and it's alteration you should be set for experiments.

The game play is okay but the graphics and the music really kill it if you ask me...
I think if you want to rework this it could become an okay game.

The graphics look cute and the game idea is nice especially for a 48h project I think it turned out well, but the actual game play is way to difficult and unbalanced.
The time the ingredients get shown is okay and it is possible to memorise the recipe, but the time the ingredients positions in the shelter get show is WAY to short.
One just oriented and maybe found two of the ingredients and BAM - Darkness ...
So actually I don't think it's a bad game but that just really ruins everything since it is like that from level one on.
If the game had a better learning curve it would be really nice, maybe you can quickly implement a function that will gradually decrease the time that the player is allowed to look at the recipe and the positions in the shelter so that it will be easy in the first and then afterwards gets more and more difficult as the player proceeds.

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback! You made some valid points there.

Actually the game was initially going to be harder than this (but we tweaked it at the last second). There's a difficulty curve, but not so much of a learning curve. I guess it's sort of a 'learn through doing' (or in this case, learn through much pain and agony'.

But honestly, I'm not sure that the game is 'so' difficult that it's impossible. There's no real penalty for failing a stage, so you're free to retry it as much as you have to in order to move on. Memory and Repitition are the key factors here. We've seen people writing things down or taking pictures with their phone in order to get through, all of which are totally allowed (and encouraged, really).

The game play is pretty boring, since it's just one of these 'collect stuff in a basket' games basically,
the music is really nice tho ยด, very retro and catchy. it would be nice if there were options for the controls: As I was playing on a laptop with touch pad keeping the left mouse button clicked and moving can be a struggle...
I don't understand the menu background and general layout... is there any relation to the game?
It's nice that there are unlock able characters ... do they have different abilities? ...

Maybe if there was a more clear meter that will fill up while eating and than allowing the player to release his special power/weapon by pushing a button that would flash up, more player interaction would be possible ... Like Guitar Hero... you can choose by yourself when you want to activate the "Star Boost" ...

So I came back to play again and all my progress was lost... :/ ...

The game is alright and has some nice challenge elements tho it could use some more story to it.
The perks are nice too although it sometimes feels a little sad that you can only have three at a time ... but I know this is for extra difficulty and such ;)

But anyway: It just started out with this nice animation and then all you do is to steal candy all along while it just gets harder and harder due to the enemies ... I think that is why other people called it repetitive ... and well it somehow is ... I only played until the first boss and beat him... it was nice but I was expecting some other monster or so ... like a special boss ... but I guess this might be due to a lack of time maybe ... it was a nice thing anyway.

It's really no bad game tho it could be a great one with just some more story line and some altering challenges... I just think that it is basing upon so many levels and even three different areas, that it just feels as if it should be story driven.

The thing with my save data may be due to my browser settings... I don't know but it is a real pity since I won't start all over again... slry ^^

I still have the 'medals' tho the save game is lost :(

Awesome!

I really like the mechanics of this game, it's simple, challenging and fun.

At the very beginning I had some trouble finding out what I had to do and the 'INSTRUCTIONS' didn't really explain what I had to do... (yes I read them :D )

So the only thing I can criticise is the lack of a tutorial. I think if the first level would just explain the basics (Select the colour from the menu on the right - all surrounding pills of the selected colour and the flashing pill will now turn into that colour and start flashing next time you select a colour now, all the surrounding pills for the whole flashing mass will react to the selected colour in the just explained manner.) the game would be perfect :)

Good quiz game.

I'm not the biggest quiz-game fan, tho it was nice, but actually rather easy...

To be honest I know almost none of the games displayed and I could guess them anyway...

MAN! This game is puzzling me ^^
I like the art style and it seems a good game but it is REALLY hard and I'm playing for I think 2 hours maybe longer now... I don't want to stop but I have to... (what is a good sign :D)

But a hint function would be nice I'm super stuck now and it is starting to get really frustrating... I got a bazillion objects in my backpack and inventory but no clue where to bring them...
